Our Star of the Week was Trish Adora and we also had our weekly WWT News on Thursday. Pro Wrestling Pets with Heather Monroe This week Emily Mae had occasion to sit down with Heather Monroe and her two cats Miss Elizabeth and Max. Heather discussed how she ended up with Elizabeth instead of the Macho Man and why she would want an elephant if she could have any pet. You may have seen Heather on the independent circuit as one half of The Killer Baes with Laura James and she has also made appearances on Monday Night RAW, Impact Wrestling, and AEW Dynamite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTXn0vB1mNY WWT Interview with La Rosa Negra This week the ladies had the pleasure of interviewing La Rosa Negra. By: George Young @WomensTagTeams Welcome to Women’s Wrestling Talk, the #1 women’s wrestling show on the planet. There’s a lot going on around here and we’re excited to have you as part of our community. This week we had the debut of our new show Pro Wrestling Pets with Shelly Martinez. We also had a great interview with Freya the Slaya and a feature on our Star of the Week: Jennacide. We also brought you the latest in women’s wrestling news on IG Live and invite you to join our Royal Rumble Watch Party. Pro Wrestling Pets with Shelly MartinezIf you’re here, we know you love wrestling, and who doesn’t love pets? In the debut episode of Pro Wrestling Pets, our Emily Mae Heller interviewed former wrestler Shelly Martinez and her adorable dogs Fred and Minnie. You may remember Shelly as Salinas in TNA or Ariel in WWE’s version of ECW. Martinez is also an animal rights activist and a dog mom. Find out why her dog Fred has a sex tape and why her precious Minnie reminds her of Mickie James. Be sure to check out Pro Wrestling Pets with Shelly Martinez on YouTube. https://youtu.be/r6jh08FZTCY WWT Interview with Freya the Slaya You don’t want to miss this week’s WWT Interview with Freya the Slaya! Freya is a very impressive athlete who gained worldwide attention after appearing on episodes of AEW Dark and NWA Powerrr. In this exclusive interview, find out how a cancelled show helped her land two matches with AEW and how she was invited to wrestle for the NWA by Billy Corgan himself. Freya States explains what it’s like to be the only female wrestler in Alaska and why she quit her day job to pursue her dreams. Freya has some amazing moves including a leg drop as dominant as Hulk Hogan or Bull Nakano and a cannonball that might even be better than that of Kevin Owens! Check out her match against Katrina to see her in action. We know she’ll be big in Japan when the time comes. Star of the Week: Jennacide This week’s Star of the Week is Jennacide. You may know her by the name Jenna Van Muscles, but this veteran of the independent circuit has reinvented herself as the Bionic Beast. Jenna appeared on NXT in 2017. She adapted her new gimmick in 2020 and debuted her new character on AEW Dark when she teamed with Dream Girl Ellie to take on Diamante & Ivelisse. Jennacide had another opportunity to take on that tag team with Lady Frost on Dark two weeks later. We hope to be seeing a lot more of her in the future!
