WWT Celebrates Black History Month | Angelic Barbie

It’s your favorite gamer girl, Angelic Barbie!

The WWE 2K YouTube sensation saw a recent rise of popularity amongst the women’s wrestling fans on Twitter for her laughter-inducing content. Her charismatic personality and unfiltered disposition were sure to leave her viewers fully entertained by the end of her videos. Since starting her YouTube channel eight years ago, she has amassed a total of 10,700 subscribers on the platform. Angelic Barbie’s most recent uploads feature her playing through WWE 2K22’s Female MyRise story mode as her fictional in-ring heel persona “Nicolette Cartae” whom she patterns after herself in real life.

When she’s not busy being the “Cole Hearted” on MyRise, she also writes storylines for her original fantasy WWE 2K series “Queendoms Universe” for which she does voice overs for all the characters on the show. Despite WWE 2K’s arguably limited features, her imaginative take on this series allows for more creative and out-of-the-box content creation.

Besides her WWE 2K gameplays, Angelic Barbie also enjoys other games such as Injustice and Dragon Ball Z for which she also has videos on. Though she’s taken a short break from making videos recently, Angelic Barbie promised to make a review of the anticipated WWE 2K23 expected to come out on March 17th this year.

When it comes to being a fan of women’s wrestling, Angelic Barbie lists Naomi and Sasha Banks as some of her favorites. However, she states that her number one idol in the wrestling industry is the current WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.

Through her innovative approaches to creating gaming content catered to the women’s wrestling viewer demographic, Angelic Barbie fosters the growth of the female and LGBTQI+ gaming community in the wrestling fan base in spite of YouTube’s preexisting male-dominated gaming viewership.
