Hall of Fame Inductees: Leading the class is Wendi Richter, who becomes the first-ever two-time Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee. She is joined by inaugural WWF/WWE Tag Team Champion Desiree Peterson of Canada and former WWF/WWE Tag Team Champions the Jumping Bomb Angels (Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki). Also receiving recognition are former TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky, veteran star Mercedes Martinez, and former WWE Women’s Champion Debra Marshall.
Other inductees include England’s wrestling veteran Saraya Knight, former TNA Knockouts Champion Maria Kanellis, and former LPWA Champion Misty Blue Simms. WWE legend and former Women’s Champion Joan Marie Laurer, better known as Chyna, is also being honored, alongside original GLOW star Jeanne Basone, who recently released her memoir Hooray for Hollywood.
Pioneer Category: The Pioneer Category recognizes trailblazing women from wrestling’s early years, including NWA legends Ramona Isabella and Kathleen Wimbley. Making history this year, the Hall of Fame will, for the first time, induct the Wingo sisters—Marva Scott, Ethel Johnson, and Babs Wingo—alongside luchador legend Ladama Enmascarada of Mexico.
Non-Wrestling Category: Honoring the contributions of referees, announcers, valets, and managers, this category will see the induction of Dark Journey and ECW originals Dawn Marie, Francine, and Kristina Laum of South Korea.
Posthumous Inductions: This year’s posthumous inductees include legendary little person wrestler Darling Dagmar and former NWA Tag Team Champion Sandy Parker.
Olympic Category: Recognizing athletes who have excelled in both professional wrestling and the Olympic stage, this category features Agnieszka Wieszczek of Poland, Risako Kinjo of Japan, and four-time Olympic gold medalist Kaori Icho of Japan.
The Women's Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2025 represents a significant and diverse lineup of influential figures who have shaped the industry. Their contributions will be celebrated in a prestigious induction ceremony, further cementing their legacies in wrestling history.
