CEO of WWT, TK Trinidad, sits down with new Impact Knockout, Trinity. Trinity discusses her journey to Impact Wrestling and who she has her eyes on in the Knockouts locker room. She also discusses the reason for silence about her WWE departure, what she wants her legacy to be and a message to her day one supports.
Trinity Speaks on Who She Wants Her Knockouts Championship Match to be with Deonna Purrazzo or Jordynne Grace
“Jordynne done lost, I think three times to Deonna, already. So just on paper, it kind of seems that Jordynne may be the easier opponent. But I can’t really say… I’m just going off the record. But I can’t really say that, because she’s so dominant and strong in the ring, and she probably snap me in half. So… and then you look at Deonna who’s a three-time Impact Knockouts Women’s Champion at this point. I mean, I don’t know, I’m going to have to really bring it with either one of them. But I’ll go with Deonna just because she’s the champion right now. And that’s a goal of mine.”
Trinity Talks About What She Hopes To Bring To The Knockout Division
“I think I bring a little extra sparkle to the division…just my energy and excitement. Just my style, I do feel like everyone on that roster has a different style, and different in ring performance and ability. I think I’m just another factor in there. And I think we’ll be able to …just with me being another element, we’ll shake up and be able to have different matches. And I’m definitely going to be working styles with women that I never have before. So,I think me being a new element in there will shake things up and it’s just going to look different and be different and I’m excited for that.
And there’s just a new layer in the knockout women’s division. So, I’m excited to see what I can do, and what I can bring. And the traction from my whole experience this year, the good and the bad, I’m hoping that attention is transformed in a good way, to the knockouts division and people want to tune in to see what we’re doing and what’s going on over here because they definitely deserve it.”
Trinity Speaks on Remaining Silent Over The Last Year
“I just think some things are just better left unsaid. I don’t feel like I need validation from anyone or anything. And I’m only addressing it because it became such a big… it took on a life of its own. So just for my fans, and just for people who are tuned into me and care about me, I felt that at least deserve to say something and clear it up a little bit about it; especially in regards on why. But everything else I just think is better left unsaid and I’ll just leave it at that. And it’s all good.”
