Tony Khan Speaks On Willow Nightingale Ahead Of Death Before Dishonor

Earlier today, Tony Khan answered questions regarding the upcoming Ring of Honor pay-per-view, Death Before Dishonor. He talks about his excitement along with the ROH signing of The Briscoes. In addition, he goes on to discuss Colt Cabana’s involvement and his vision for ROH altogether.
During the call, Emmy Award-Winning Sportscaster, Jon Alba, asks Khan about Willow Nightingale.
Tony Khan tells me he believes @willowwrestles has improved a lot in the time he's known her, and says she works incredibly hard. He believes she can be a face of a women's division. “Willow’s been wrestling with AEW and she had wrestled with Ring of Honor in the past also and now, with being able to book both companies, I think Willow is a great wrestler for any wrestling promotion including both AEW and Ring of Honor.” He continues, “I think she’s a great face for any women’s division and we are watching her get better and better and better.”
He talks about her growth and hard work in wrestling. He says, “The sky is the limit so I am very excited about her growth as a pro wrestler.” In addition, he continues to brag about her talent, calling her “a great prospect” for either AEW or ROH.
Willow Nightingale will face off with Allysin Kay at Death Before Dishonor. No word yet on if this match will be a number one contender match. All in all, both have a history within ROH and plan to make their presence known once again.
Unfortunately, the match between Mercedes Martinez and Serena Deeb was not discussed. In addition, Martinez will defend her ROH Women’s World Championship against Deeb this Saturday.
