Tony Khan Gives Update on Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill has been MIA since her TBS title shocker and loss. We've seen Jade make appearances and be photographed on various sets and vacations, clearly enjoying her life. People have attempted to inquire about her whereabouts via Twitter, but Cargill has been elusive at best, and trolling at worst. A recent interview with CEO Tony Khan may have given a hint into what Cargill’s future is.

In regard to Jade, Khan said:

"Well, Jade's still with us, and Jade has been on sabbatical since her upset, I believe title loss after her unbelievable undefeated run. And Kris Statlander now is the TBS Champion, and she's made some great defenses of the title, but Jade is still with us. And I can't say for certain what anybody's going to do in the future, but certainly, we value Jade and everything she's done here…”

Jade Cargill holds the distinction of being the inaugural TBS Champion, which she held for 508 days. She is the longest-reigning AEW champion in the history of the company. Cargill was trained at A.R. Fox’s

WWA4 Academy and was mentored by Mark Henry. Cargill’s official wrestling debut was made in a very memorable tag team match between Cody and Brandi Rhodes and her and Shaquille O’Neal.

Everyone is looking forward to Cargill’s return whenever that will be, and curious to see what Tony Khan and the creative team will do when she returns. Are you looking forward to Jade’s return?
