Toni Storm will face Penelope Ford on this week’s episode of Dynamite. Toni Storm is coming off a huge victory and was awarded Interim AEW Women’s World Champion. Sunday at All Out, Storm won a Four-woman match by pinning Jamie Hayter after defeating three other competitors, Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida.
Storm vs. Ford is an Eliminator Match, meaning that if Ford wins, she would be eligible for a future title chance. Ford’s most recent televised match was on August 17, losing to Athena on Rampage.
AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa and Storm were originally scheduled to face off in the All-Out match, however, Rosa reported an injury that forced her to withdraw. When she returns, the interim champion will battle her in an attempt to unify the titles.
