At long last, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling has officially announced plans for one of its biggest events of the year. Wrestle Princess III will take place in the Tokyo Dome City Hall on October 9, hailing a stacked card of talent keen to make a mark at a show many viewers tune into on an international level.
Many historic matches have changed Wrestle Princess since 2020. Everything from Mizuki and Yuka Sakazaki’s Princess of Princess championship bout to Yuki Kamifuku and Hikari Noa’s International competition in 2020 has played out under the grand stadium lights, and this year appears to be no different.
The newer additions to TJPW’s roster clash in tag team action with Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano facing Arisu Endo & Kaya Toribami, looking to set proclamations for their highly anticipated futures. Meanwhile, Mahiro Kiryu, Yuki Kamifuku, and Haruna Neko clash against Nao Kakuta and two GanBare visitors in Yoshiko Hasegawa and the iconic Yuna Manase.
The eclectic Ryo Mizunami will face fan-favorite Suzume. One-half of Mizuki’s Magical Sugar Rabbits will fly solo against Hyper Misao, protector of love and peace. Riho and Hikari Noa face Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita (121000000) after All Elite Wrestling’s Fight Forever console game promotion.

The most anticipated match is a three-woman tag between Aja Kong and Max the Impaler. Max’s early clash with the legendary Joshi wrestler has drawn a lot of attention. Both opponents will have other talents on their side: Kong will have “God” Raku and Pom Harajuku, who lost to Max last month, while Max will have Yuki Aino and “the White Dragon” Rika Tatsumi. This clash of styles will be a card highlight.
Yuki Arai and Saki Akai’s Princess Tag Team belts are on the line against The Uprising (Rhia O’Reilly and Nightshade), and Miu Watanabe looks to defeat International Princess Champion Alex Windsor.
Shoko Nakajima will defend the Princess of Princess Championship against longtime rival Yuka Sakazaki. With similar size, skill, and history, the matchup should be exciting. Sakazi has recently won TJPW matches. With so much on the line in the next week, every talent is looking to carve a new path. Who will succeed, and who will keep climbing?
Wrestle Princess III will be available to watch on TJPW’s co-streaming service with Dramatic Dream Team (DDT), Wrestleuniverse.
