This was a big week for Women’s Wrestling Talk, the #1 women’s wrestling show on the planet. The week started off with a bang with our Royal Rumble watch party. The event featured our hosts TK Trinidad, Emily Mae Heller, and Sarah the Rebel. Congratulations are in order to Bianca Belair for pulling off the win and earning her title shot at WrestleMania! From there we had another Pro Wrestling Pets segment with Heather Monroe, followed by our women’s wrestling podcast with La Rosa Negra. Our Star of the Week was Trish Adora and we also had our weekly WWT News on Thursday.
Pro Wrestling Pets with Heather Monroe
This week Emily Mae had occasion to sit down with Heather Monroe and her two cats Miss Elizabeth and Max. Heather discussed how she ended up with Elizabeth instead of the Macho Man and why she would want an elephant if she could have any pet. You may have seen Heather on the independent circuit as one half of The Killer Baes with Laura James and she has also made appearances on Monday Night RAW, Impact Wrestling, and AEW Dynamite.

This Week in Women’s Wrestling History
Here’s some interesting women’s wrestling history and trivia related to the Royal Rumble. The first Royal Rumble in 1988 featured a WWF Women’s Tag Team Championship match. The Jumping Bomb Angels defeated The Glamour Girls to win the match in two out of three falls. The first woman to compete in the Royal Rumble match was Chyna when she entered in both 1999 and 2000.
