Last week, a new AEW Women's World Champion is crowned. As we know, in the world of wrestling, a defending champion is always the champion to be!
Tonight on #AEWDynamite, it is announced that there will be a fatal four-way at All In. The AEW Women's World Championship will be on the line. Surprisingly, Toni Storm is announced as the first competitor.
In addition, she uses her rematch clause following dropping the title last week to ensure her placement immediately. Many fans take to social media to express their frustrations about the current champion, Hikaru Shida, not getting the first automatic entry.
However, Shida needs to get past her opponent for tonight, Anna Jay. Earlier in the night, Anna Jay makes it clear she is betting on herself. Tonight, Anna Jay is looking to become a champion for the first time in her AEW career.
Tonight, Shida completes the first mission. With that, Anna Jay's dream is crushed in the main event. Shida defeats Anna Jay and is now set for All In.
The two-time AEW champion joins Toni Storm for now. In addition, Saraya and Skye Blue fight it out this Friday on #AEWRampage to see who qualifies next. In addition, next week on #AEWDynamite, The Bunny returns to take on Dr. Britt Baker DMD.
The winner of their match becomes the last competitor at what AEW is calling "The Biggest Event in Wrestling History." Who do you think will win and live London as champ? Let us know over on our Twitter @WWTalkPod.
