The Salt Shakkas, Driune Santana and Nickie Booshie, sit down with current IMPACT! Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Taya Valkyrie. She talks about her return to IMPACT! Wrestling this year along with her teammates Rosemary and JesSICKa. In addition, she opens up about her inspiration when it comes to her gear.
Returning to IMPACT!
“I was stressed [and] a mess that day. Because I was nervous and anxious obviously because it means so much to me.”
She goes on to talk about that day at WrestleCon along with her Deathmatch right before her return.
“It was so great to feel the energy and to see your guys’ faces like [screams] in the front row and my little pink little blazer situation. It was so-it was magical!”
Working with Rosemary
“I think that our chemistry is undeniable, and we play off each other so well. Even though we are totally different-even outside of wrestling our personalities are just like Ying and Yang like we are very different.”
She continues saying that dynamic helps make it fun. In addition, Valkyrie says:
“I’m comfortable with her, I trust her. I feel like we creatively just play off each other so well even you can see that in our backstage segments to ringside in the ring together. I had to do it again!”
