The wrestling landscape has been set ablaze with the news that Stephani Vaquer is WWE bound and will
be on the NXT brand. Takes are being thrown left and right over how Vaquer is making her way to WWE,
but the who is more important. Vaquer is a world traveled athlete that you might have recently noticed
do battle vs Mercedes Mone at AEW Forbidden Door. While that was certainly a large platform. Vaquer
has been one of the best kept secrets in wrestling for quite some time.
Stephanie Vaquer is most known for her work in CMLL and holds the crown as the brands first South
American women’s wrestler. She will be entering NXT with 15 years of experience, and she began
wrestling at just 16 years old. She is more than prepared for the WWE this go around since her previous
tryout in 2018. Perhaps this was always the end game all along, while she built a name for herself
worldwide.

After all, she is the first Luchadora in CMLL to hold both the Women’s Tag-Team gold simultaneously
with the World Women’s Championship. Vaquer also represented the New Japan Pro Wrestling
Women’s division and dethroned another familiar name, Guilia, for the Strong Women’s title. Stephanie
Vaquer can do more than just keep up with the big names in Women’s wrestling, she’s ready to become
one of the biggest. Not to mention that she wasted no time picking up her first WWE victory vs Isla
Dawn recently during the Mexico City tour.
The selective outrage of how Vaquer got to WWE is less important than the “what’s next.” As Vaquer is
NXT bound, what are some dream match ups you would like to see? There couldn’t be a better time
than now with the growing TNA partnership as well. The WWE Women’s division just got more stacked.
