I make my way to Greensboro Coliseum to see history continue to spark in North Carolina. AEW Collision gives a tag team match between current TBS Champion Kris Statlander teaming with the 2023 Owen Hart Tournament Winner Willow Nightingale. In addition, they face the team of Diamante and Mercedes Martinez who have been creating quite the buzz.
Diamante and Martinez work well together and show their dominance early in the match. Willow holds it down for her team, doing everything she can to take out both Diamante and Martinez. With a tag to Statlander, the momentum shifts while Martinez and Diamante find themselves in trouble with the champion.
In the end, Diamante and Martinez help each other complete the win, pinning Willow for the victory. With this win, Martinez gains quite the momentum to go after the championship she has had her eyes on. Moving forward, the connection between Mercedes Martinez and Diamante is definitely something to pay attention to.
Later in the night, we see a brief appearance from Toni Storm. As she gears up for the historic match at All In, she proclaims her victory early. However, Storm is reminded that Shida, who beat her for the title, will be involved in that match as well.

This Wednesday, The Bunny returns and takes on Dr. Britt Baker DMD. The winner of that match will join AEW Women's World Champion Shida, Saraya, and Toni Storm at All In.
