In a press release on August 3, 2022, Tony Khan announced that Madison Rayne (Ashley Nicole Lomberger) would be joining AEW. Her role in AEW to help assist with coaching the women’s talent. Madison is currently an in-ring talent on IMPACT Wrestling. She’s also a producer there as well.
This announcement was part of a group of people joining the AEW team to help with development and talent relations.
Madison kicked off her new role at yesterday’s Dynamite, which took place in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

On Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan said this about Madison.
“I’m really excited. She’s going to be great for the team. She’s excited. Everyone is excited to have Madison Rayne as part of AEW. I’m not saying she wouldn’t wrestle anymore; we’re open to it. We have other people in the office who do wrestle as part of their schedule, so I’m open to it. I haven’t talked a lot about it because right now, I’m primarily focused on the whole company, but it’s definitely something I’m open to and would like,” he said. – (Fightful)
Madison wrestled in IMPACT Wrestling on and off for years all the way back when it was TNA. She started there in 2009 where she was also part of the stable The Beautiful People. Madison is currently an in-ring talent as well as a producer for IMPACT Wrestling.

She would go on to hold the Knockouts title 5 times and hold the Knockout’s Tag Team titles, 3 times. Her most recent tag title was with Tenille Dashwood. Their stable is known as The Influence. Recently, they added Giselle Shaw to the stable as well.
With about 17 years of wrestling experience, she will certainly be an asset to AEW and their women’s division.
