Rok-C, a rising star in the Ring of Honor women’s division and the company’s first-ever female champion, is joining the WWE. Rok-name C’s has come up a lot in recent weeks in connection with the WWE. Reportedly, the former ROH Women’s Champion had a nice time during a WWE tryout camp and performed well. Recently, there was a lot of pressure on WWE to get Rok-C on board.
With the help of WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Rok began her wrestling career. Her age was barely 13 at the time. It was clear to Booker that she wanted to be a wrestling champ even at such a young age. WWE has actually signed Rok-C to a contract, according to Booker T, who confirmed this information to MMA Hour’s Ariel Helwani. Other former Reality of Wrestling wrestlers, including Booker T., have gone on to have success in professional wrestling. After Booker’s promotion, Rok-C is the last person to make it out of Booker.
“I’m more so often to working with the talent that is trying to get to the next level. One of my girls just debuted on AEW Dynamite with Jade Cargill, that’s AQA. They just signed her to a contract and that’s really really cool. One of my girls, Rok-C, WWE just signed her. She was my youngest champion in Reality of Wrestling. Started with me in a fantasy camp At 13 years old, her dream was to be Reality of Wrestling Champion. I got guys out there floating around all over the world. That’s my passion, working with young guys from an in-ring perspective, a mental perspective, a life perspective. It gives me purpose.”
As of the time of this writing, no official statement has been made by WWE about the signing of Rok-C. The WWE Universe will have to wait and watch how and in what capacity she is presented to the WWE Universe. It’s safe to say that Rok-addition C’s to the NXT, SmackDown, or Monday Night Raw roster is a wise one.
