Saturday night at WWE Extreme Rules, Bianca Belair defeated Bayley in a ladder match to retain the Raw Women’s Championship. The rest of Damage CTRL undid Belair’s earlier appearance as the match’s victor when she ascended the ladder toward the belt, sending the champion flying to the mat.
Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai received a double KOD from The EST of WWE after they recovered from their setback.

In the final stretch, Belair’s strength was once again on full display. Prior to using a KOD to knock her opponent down onto the ladder, she carried Bayley and a ladder simultaneously. She then ascended to her feet to reclaim her championship belt.
WWE set up a SummerSlam title match between Belair and Bayley when The Role Model returned from a knee injury. Bayley interrupted Bianca Belair and Lynch’s handshake after The EST defended the Raw women’s title against The Man, but she wasn’t alone when she arrived at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
The next night on Raw, they injured Lynch and interfered in Asuka and Alexa Bliss’ match, leading The Empress and The Goddess to team up with Belair to oppose the heel group.

At Clash at the Castle, Damage CTRL won a six-woman tag team match after Bayley pinned Belair. Kai and Sky defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah to win the WWE women’s tag team titles on Raw.
In subsequent weeks, they formed Damage CTRL with Kai and Sky. Bayley accelerated her pursuit of the Raw women’s title and sent a message to Belair a few weeks ago.
The Role Model attacked Belair after defeating Bliss in Raw’s main event and challenged for Extreme Rules.

On Saturday, Belair faced Bayley, who had won the women’s title three times and had the longest-ever SmackDown title reign, making it arguably the toughest test of her reign.
Belair maintained her 200-day reign despite the support of her Damage CTRL stablemates.
