However, there is no mention of the women’s match taking place. As we know, Thunder Rosa will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against Toni Storm. In addition, New Japan Pro Wrestling consists of all men, in which the only representation of women would lie on AEW.
The significance of the women’s match is still unknown. However, it seems that this match is rushed, being thrown together. The lack of build and lack of story makes some wonder if the match was just placed so complaints of not featuring the women would not occur.
