Mandy Rose retains the NXT Women’s Championship following her victory over Alba Fyre at Halloween Havoc. She entered last year’s edition of the same event without a WWE championship to her name. She defeated Raquel Gonzalez to win her first gold medal, and she entered this year’s competition as champion.

Before the match, all three Toxic Attraction members met Fyre on a haunted path or house. Fyre defeated Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne in a silly segment before capturing Mandy Rose and returning her to the Performance Center. Jayne was arguably the segment’s MVP.

The contest preceded the main event (the drive must have been long for Fyre with Rose in the backseat). As Fyre was about to pin Rose, Dolin and Jayne removed the referee. Fyre defeated Dolin and Jayne before dropping a Gory Bomb on the referee, who was outside. She attempted a pin, but there was no referee to keep score!

After Fyre rolled the referee back into the ring, Toxic Attraction would continue the assault. Back in the ring, Rose was prepared to capitalize and hit Kiss by the Rose, tucking Fyre’s arms beneath her so she couldn’t grab the ropes, resulting in a three count. Rose blows a kiss and looks up after the bell rings as a tribute to her recently deceased brother.

Rose has reigned as champion for 361 days. In only four days, she will have completed one full year.

The other women’s match at the event was a Weapons Wild Match in which Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez continued their rivalry. Perez even spent time in a trash can during the course of this match.

After employing a variety of weapons, the two found themselves atop the pre-show stage. Jade would detach the railing and throw Perez to the table below by tossing him off the stage. However, Perez would take Jade with her as they both fell to the ground. Back in the ring, Perez would finally defeat Jade and earn the victory via pinfall.

Also, it was revealed that the person (likely a woman) wearing the red hoodie and mask in the Schism stable will be unmasked on Tuesday’s episode of NXT.

The event co-hosted by Shotzi and the Super Diva Quincy Elliott. They had a segment in which Lash Legend questioned the selection of Shotzi as host because she is from SmackDown. On Tuesday, Legend will receive a DDT, and the two women will compete.
