It’s been over seven years since Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair made their Raw debuts after dominating NXT. Sasha, Becky, and Charlotte’s arrival on Raw started a wave of history-making moments for the women, including the Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match, the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, the women’s Elimination Chamber match, women main eventing Wrestlemania, and an all-pay-per-view. women’s

Today, I’m looking back at 2015 to see what Absolution, Team Bella, and Team B.A.D have been up to since WWE’s women’s revolution began.

Sasha Banks

Sasha was successful before her main roster debut. Stephanie McMahon brought NXT Women’s Champion to Raw. They called themselves Team B.A.D. Sasha lost the first-ever women’s iron man match to Bayley at NXT Takeover: Respect. Bayley had beaten Sasha for the title at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. Sasha has won 5 Raw Women’s Titles, 1 Smackdown Women’s Title, and 3 Women’s Tag Team Titles since Team B.A.D. She also competed in the first-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match against Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell 2016.

She defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair on Night 1 of Wrestlemania 37. She and Naomi won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships before leaving Raw over creative differences. Sasha appeared in The Mandalorian and recently made her modeling debut with Naomi. The Boss’ WWE return is unknown.

Naomi

After the dissolution of Team B.A.D, Naomi went back to being a singles star. She captured the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Backlash 2016 but unfortunately had to relinquish the title a couple of nights later due to an injury she sustained during the match at Backlash. When she made her return a few months later, she won the Smackdown women’s championship again at Wrestlemania 33 making her a two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Naomi also won the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal in 2018. She is a one-time Women’s Tag Team Champion with Sasha Banks. As previously stated, the duo walked out of an episode of Raw in 2022 due to creative differences with WWE and has yet to return. She has been making multiple appearances at various events in the fashion world alongside Sasha and also has been spotted at events in Hollywood with Sasha by her side.

Tamina

Tamina, the third member of Team B.A.D, has had some success following the breakup of the team. She competed in the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in 2017. She also competed in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble in 2018. She has teamed with various women during the past few years and even has had a run with the Women’s Tag Team Championship which she won with Natalya. She is also a 7 time 24/7 Champion.

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has completely transformed herself from the wrestler and character she was in 2015 during her Raw debut. She started out by teaming with Charlotte Flair and Paige in a team called Team PCB. Since Team PCB, Becky Lynch became a fan favorite and became “The Man” and “Big Time Becks”. She is a 2-time Raw Women’s Champion, a 4-time Smackdown’s Women’s Champion, the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble winner, and made history by being in the first-ever women’s main event at Wrestlemania when she won the Raw and Smackdown’s women’s championships against Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

She became the first person to pin Ronda Rousey as well. Becky has become one of the most recognizable superstars in mainstream media in the past few years. She also had a child last year with Seth Rollins and made a remarkable return just over a year after having her daughter. Becky is currently out with an injury after suffering a separated shoulder in her match against Bianca Belair at SummerSlam 2022. Expected to be out for several months, fans are eagerly awaiting her return.

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has been one of the most decorated women in history following her Raw debut in 2015. Charlotte was also a member of Team PCB alongside Becky and Paige. Before her Raw debut, she was NXT Women’s Champion, but that was the first of many titles. Charlotte began dominating the women’s division by defeating Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship. She was the last woman to hold the Divas Championship before Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships were introduced.

She’s a 6-time Raw Women’s Champion, 6-time Smackdown Women’s Champion, 2-time NXT Women’s Champion, and 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble winner. She was in the first women’s Hell in a Cell match against Sasha Banks and the first women’s Wrestlemania main event at Wrestlemania 35. Charlotte is arguably the most successful woman in WWE history. She hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since Wrestlemania, but she’ll be back soon.

Paige

The final member of Team PCB, Paige, had many accolades of her own before the team even started and the opinion of some fans is that Paige actually started the Divas Revolution on her own. After turning on Team PCB, Paige was a part of various alliances and even challenged Charlotte to the Divas Championship. Due to neck injuries, she had to retire from in-ring competition.

She became the general manager of Smackdown for a while and also managed the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). She also was a contributor for WWE Backstage. Paige was released from her WWE contract in June of 2022. On September 21st, Paige made her debut in AEW under her real name, Saraya. As of now, she is not an active wrestler but made a statement saying that she will be making changes to the AEW women’s division.

Alicia Fox

In 2015, Alicia Fox was aligned with Brie and Nikki Bella as part of Team Bella. She would help each twin win their matches and was around for strength of numbers when assisting the twins. She had various alliances and feuds following the quiet breakup of Team Bella. She became the first woman in WWE history to appear in front of a crowd in the Middle East in 2016.

In 2018, she competed in the all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, in a match that saw Fox teaming with Mickie James to take on Trish Stratus and Lita. Also in 2018, she competed in the Mixed Match Challenge and teamed with Jinder Mahal. She had a few other matches throughout the years, before retiring from the WWE in 2019. She has made sporadic appearances for the company since, including for spots in the 2021 and 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble matches. She also won the 24/7 Championship at Raw Legends Night in 2021.

Brie Bella & Nikki Bella

I am grouping the Bella Twins together because much of their success since the WWE Divas Revolution has been together. The Twins have turned into pop culture superstars and it’s hard to find a person that doesn’t know about the Bella Twins. Since leaving WWE to start families and due to injuries, the twins have been very busy. Brie has two children with her husband, Bryan Danielson. Nikki recently had a son with her husband, Artem Chigvintsev. The twins were inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2021 as part of the class of 2020. Brie and Nikki also competed in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble which was special for both women as they had both had babies just months earlier. It was also Nikki’s first match back since it was announced she had a career-ending cyst on her brain.

The twins were given their own spin-off show from Total Divas called Total Bellas. They also started their own podcast, clothing line, wine, and body and beauty line. They also released their own memoir in 2020. It seems like Brie and Nikki are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon either. They love being entrepreneurs and have proved they are great at it. I think we will only see more of the Bellas in the future, no matter what they happen to be doing to expand the Bella Brand.
