Feroz going for a submission on Kayden, she’s able to take her down and tag in Yulisa. Leon takes Feroz and drops her on top of Kayden, Leon punches Gigi who is on the apron. Jacy attempted a cheap shot, but Valentina had her partner’s back and was able to assist. Feroz encourages Leon to go for the pin, pins Kayden, and when she kicks out, they work on Kayden.
Carter reverses Valentina’s move and kicks her in the jaw. Kayden gets closer to Diamond Mine’s corner, Ivy is able to take her down and drag her outside by her feet. Carter takes on both Ivy and Tatum, Katana comes for the save with a crossbody to Team Diamond Mine. Leon takes Valentina over her shoulders and throws her to the teams outside, Yulisa runs to the ropes and dives on to the teams as well, they’re both fired up.
Yulisa brings Kayden to the ring for a pin attempt. Yulisa is going against Tatum; they have a back and forth until Yulisa tags in Valentina. They have a double team move then a pin attempt, Ivy breaks it off to save her team. Yulisa goes to take care of Ivy, but she reverses it and takes Yulisa out of the ring. Valentina tries to submit Tatum, but Ivy attacks her after Tatum drops her. Tatum was focused on Yulisa not interrupting Ivy’s pin attempt. Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz have been eliminated.
Ivy and Gigi engage a back-and-forth until Gigi snatches Jacy. Jayne kicks Ivy, who’s dangling from the middle rope, and Jacy tries to pin her. As Gigi trashes each corner, Ivy hits a spinning kick and tags Paxley. Katana gets tagged in; Tatum shows off her strength when she picks up Katana for suplex. Ivy tags herself in, Tatum drop kicks Katana and stays on her knees, Ivy uses Tatum to catapult herself for a kick to Katana who stumbles down. Ivy kicks Katana to the corner and goes for a pin attempt.
Nile tags in Tatum, she attempts a suplex, Katana reverses it. Chance kicks Tatum in the abdomen, Tatum goes to pull Katana, she’s able to jump backwards and land behind Tatum who sees surprised at the move. Chance takes Tatum down, uses her legs for a face buster on the canvas and pin attempt. Katana tags in Kayden, they go for a few double teams moves, Kayden attempts a pin, but Jacy breaks it up and Jacy attempts the pin herself since she’s now the legal competitor. Ivy and Tatum are eliminated.
Katana and Kayden, Gigi and Jacy are the final two teams hoping to win the championships. Both teams face each other, they’re fired up. Gigi and Jacy use each other for momentum, Jacy goes for a centon on Katana and Gigi for a bronco buster on Kayden. Carter and Jayne have a back and forth, Kayden goes for a kick, Jacy reverses it and goes for a pin attempt.
Jacy hit Kayden, tagged in Gigi, Dolin took Kayden down and pin attempt, Katana was ready to jump in there. Kayden went for a kick and cover, Katana encouraging her partner from the apron and the crowd as well. Chance is tagged in, she pulls Gigi down from the top rope, Kayden takes her on a suplex and Katana comes in for the pin. Dolin tags Jayne, take down Carter and go for their finisher, Kayden kicks Jacy when she is going for the pin. Carter took Gigi and Dolin hit her at the same time, all four women are down.
Katana chops Jacy, she returns the favor, they go at each other a few times then going for kicks. Katana goes a kick then runs to her corner to tag in Kayden. They’re setting up for their finisher, Gigi pulls Kayden from her position, Katana goes for a crossbody onto Gigi. Jacy goes for a roll up, Kayden kicks out, making Jayne land by the ropes, Katana kicked her from outside. Chance and Carter set up their finisher for the win.
I appreciated that the championships weren’t just given back to Toxic Attraction and that it was an elimination battle. It made the contest more compelling amongst the teams, and having no commercials was a brilliant idea. Toxic Attraction as one of the last two moves was fascinating because I thought they’d win. Katana and Kayden winning the championships was long overdue. The duplicate teams from each angle were unique and fun to see. I loved the crowd’s excitement and Katana and Kayden’s winning expressions.
Mandy Rose vs. Sarray
Before the match begins, Gigi and Jacy are upset that they lost the match earlier, Mandy said we’re going to get it back, she consoles the ladies until her music starts and she heads out for her match against Sarray.
The match begun during the commercial break, Mandy had taken Sarray with a few shots to her face and a pin attempt. Mandy slingshots Sarray to the ropes, Sarray goes over her for a roll up. While Mandy is getting up, Sarray goes for a drop kick, taking down the champion. Rose is by the bottom rope, Sarray uses her boot to keep Rose in place, she runs to attempt her kick, but Rose has it scouted and moves out the way. Sarray then goes to kick Rose while holding on to the middle rope, Rose takes both of Sarray’s hands to push her off and goes in the ring for the pin attempt.
Rose takes Sarray to the corner, kicking her a few times, pushing her knee to Sarray’s face as well. Sarray went for a roll up, Rose reverses Sarray’s attempt and makes it a face buster and she goes for two covers. Rose hits Sarray’s head on the mat a few times, Rose went for the pin, Sarray exits by bridging out of it. Sarray fires a few shots at Rose, uses the ropes to take down Rose.
Rose is recovering, Sarray goes for a drop kick from the second rope, and a suplex with a bridge for the pin attempt. Sarray climbs the ropes, Mandy is able to carry her, stopping her momentum and goes for her finisher kick and a pin for the victory.
Rose comes to the ring with a chair, raising her championship in the air. She goes to hit Sarray with the chair on several occasions, she opens it up to place Sarray’s knee in it, Zoey comes for the save. Zoey is in control, hitting Rose several times, Rose escapes and takes her championship with her.
Overall, I was bothered by some spots during this match, Rose was waiting for Sarray’s moves in certain parts. She made it evident that Sarray would bridge out of a pin by not placing herself directly on top of him. Mandy didn’t do much in the ring but still won, making her a clever heel who took advantage of her opportunities.
Tiffany Stratton Promo
“When you’re a once in a lifetime athlete, you have no time for complete losers like Wendy Choo. It’s not my fault I was born a gifted and superior athlete. I know I’m great. I work at it every day, not just when I’m rested, happy or excited. I guess that’s why everyone at NXT is obsessed with me. I couldn’t stand losing that Battle Royal. I don’t understand how women in the locker room were okay with getting eliminated and losing. Wendy Choo said the next time she sees me it won’t be such a pretty picture. Everything I do is pretty.”
First, I liked that Tiffany’s promo was outside of the PC and NXT arena. I did love what Tiffany said in the promo especially about losing the Battle Royal. We haven’t been told when Wendy and Tiffany are facing next time but I hope it’s the last time and they’re both able to move on from this and have new rivalries.
Tony D’Angelo & Stacks vs. Julius and Brutus Creed (Creed Brothers) – NXT Tag Team Championship Match
Towards the end of the match, Brutus is focused on taking down Stacks, Julius is the corner recovering. Tony pulls a crowbar from Elektra Lopez, but it pulls back, leaving him bewildered. Santos Escobar returned to take it from him while Elektra is smiling in the background. Wilde and Del Toro assist and the Creed Brothers re able to retain their championships.
I wanted to point out this part of this match as we haven’t seen Elektra often in TV lately and it’s nice to see her involved in this part especially with Santos’ return.

Roxanne tells us how she’s processing the experience she had with Cora a few weeks ago. She gave us a background into her friendship with Cora Jade. “When my friends succeed, I succeed, when they win, I win, and we won!” She didn’t see who attacked her and assumed it was Toxic Attraction, she was hurt by Cora’s actions. “Our friendship meant more than that women’s title. I never want to be associated with Cora ever again.”
Roxanne doesn’t understand what Cora would call her a selfish b*tch during her promo last week as she “was there all those times that needed me,” she says. She was in denial, and it turn into anger when Cora threw the Women’s Tag Team Championship in the trash can. “We dreamed of becoming champions for so long and she throws it in the trash.” Roxanne says, “You want me out of your life, I couldn’t agree more so let’s see this once and for all, in two weeks at Heat Wave.”
I missed seeing Roxanne on TV but I’m excited for her challenge to Cora for Heatwave and the direction the match will go afterwards when it comes to their rivalry as they don’t want to be associated with each other.
Cora Jade Interview
Right after Roxanne’s promo, Cora is being interviewed by McKenzie about Roxanne’s words. “If Roxanne was as good int he rings as she is an actress, don’t fall for her sob story. She wants me to look like the bad guy.” Cora says Roxanne wants the match to face Cora and elevate her career again and she isn’t interested in that. Mandy Rose interrupts Cora with a business pitch. After what she observed last week, Mandy wants Cora to get rid of Zoey from the women’s division.
Mandy suggests to Cora that if she takes out Zoey as the number one contender, she might take Zoey’s spot instead of facing Roxanne at Heatwave. Cora calls Mandy a “little girl” on her way out.
I liked the continuity from Roxanne’s promo to Cora’s interview since they involve each other. Cora is confronting Zoey next week due to Mandy’s proposal. I see Roxanne interfering to help Zoey, which might lead to Mandy and Cora uniting against Roxanne and Zoey before Heatwave.
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter Interview
They’re interviewed about their victory earlier tonight, thanking the fans for not giving up on them and how they didn’t give up on each other either.
Brooks Jensen (Josh Briggs & Fallon Henley) vs. Joey Gacy (with Dyad)
As the match is about to end, the Dyad seems focused on Fallon, Josh notices and comes to her assist and she’s arguing with them, telling them to pick him instead. Pretty Deadly comes in, Brooks takes them down, Gacy sets up for his finisher and victory.
The involvement with Dyad and Fallon seems interesting as Fallon really fits with Briggs and Jensen, I wouldn’t break that up but they have a sister/brother relationship with the fellas, so it’ll be a distraction for them as they care about her.
Alba Fyre vs. Lash Legend
The match started during commercials; Lash has taken over Alba. Alba goes for a shot, but Alba punched her back instead, Alba fires back with shots to Legend’s abdomen. Lash stops her, wraps Alba’s body around hers, stopping her from any momentum. Lash holds on to Alba, slamming her on the mat. Alba creates distance by hitting Lash’s face with the turnbuckle, going for the top rope, Lash is about to stop her.
Legend climbs the ropes, holding Fyre there for a few moments, shocking the crowd. Fyre hit Legend with a knee, making her fall, Fyre sets up for stomp, but Legend moved as Fyre was on her way down. Legend does to use the baseball bat, Fyre super kick her and she drops the bat. Fyre super kicks her again, sets up for the Gory bomb, goes for the top rope with a Swanton Bomb for the victory.
I enjoyed the match, it showed off both competitors but just as Wendy and Tiffany, I want them to move on from this and face new people, create new rivalries for both of them.
Nikkita Lyons Promo
Nikkita responds to Kiana’s power point presentation about her last week, she’s proud of who she is, where she comes from and she’s an open book. “I didn’t have to do any research on you Kiana because I’ve dealt with girls like you my entirely life. You think you’re better than everyone, you think you can just judge me because I don’t fit in a small box that you think a woman should look and act like.”
I enjoyed the promo from Nikkita, I wonder where this takes her and Kiana. This has been the feud to introduce and give us more of Kiana since her debut.

Bodhi, Thea and Andre Chase – UK highlights
Andre shows Bodhi and Thea around the UK, and they pose with a Chase U flag by a gate. They arrive to the NXT UK Performance Center.
Eliza is weary of Americans “taking chances from people like her” and warns Thea she will “make a statement out of you.” Thea tells her not to mention Chase U, but Eliza doesn’t grasp the name or whether she wants to be hunted as she goes.
Blair says ever since her return, Satomura has ignored her. “If it wasn’t for me breaking my ankle all the way a few months ago, I’d be standing in front of all of you as the current NXT UK Women’s Champion.” Davenport is getting booed; she knows that everyone knows it and she’ll continue to cause chaos until she gets what she wants. Blair is interrupted by Amale.
“You cannot just insist to have whatever matches you want; everyone here wants to be the next woman to challenge Meiko and is willing to work for it.” Amale is interrupted by Eliza Alexander.
“Maybe Blair has got a point, and the louder you are the more people pay attention, but neither of you deserve to be the next in line as long as I’m in NXT UK,” says Eliza.
“No one takes action like me,” Davenport says. As Blair backs up, she realizes Isla Dawn is behind her. “I don’t think I recall you ever beating me,” Isla tells Blair.
Isla Dawn vs. Blair Davenport
Isla vs Blair is announced, winner becoming #1 contender for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Eliza and Amale argue with Scala about the announcement of the match, her instructs them to head back.
Ladies begin with a lock up; they take turns getting out of each other’s moves. Isla targets Blair’s ankle, Blair kicks her to avoid her doing it again. Dawn focuses on kicking Blair’s left knee. Dawn takes Blair’s left leg, Blair kicks Isla with her right leg to take her down. Blair drags Isla to the turnbuckle, using her boot to keep Isla in place.
Blair pushed Isla to the ropes to hit her with an elbow to her neck. Taking Isla to the corner, kicking her a few times, she catapults her, and Isla reverses it. Davenport is in the corner, she brings Isla to the apron, Isla kicks her, Blair lands inside and Isla laughs.
Isla drivers her knee to Blair’s back, taking her boot to the back of Blair’s head and stomps her. Dawn takes an elbow to Blair’s back, Blair shots at Isla and Isla knees Blair’s abdomen, she elbows Blair’s back again. Dawn bouncing off the ropes, kicking Blair, going for a pin attempt.
Isla kicks Blair’s head twice, wrapping her arms around her belly. Blair elbows Isla’s head and drags her down, her head hitting the canvas. Blair goes after Isla; she reverses it and goes for a pin attempt.
Isla has a submission, Blair attempts a pin, Isla shoots at Blair and another pin, and Davenport escapes. Isla walks to Blair, who holds her as Davenport takes a couple shots for a pin.
Dawn holds Davenport’s hand, kicks her, suplexes her and a pin attempt. Isla shows frustration that she cannot take Blair down. Isla has Blair on her shoulders, Blair escapes and goes for a roll up, Isla kicks Blair again. They’re both in the corner, Isla kicks Blair and takes her down by her feet.
Eliza pulls Isla as she’s close to winning with double knees to Blair and a pin attempt. Amale kicks Blair, Isla comes in to kick Amale, and Eliza comes in to kick Isla. Blair spears Eliza in the corner, bringing her down. Amale and Isla punch Blair’s back. Referees try to separate Eliza from Amale and Blair from Isla to halt the show.
I enjoyed how the show was built up, from a promo to a bout to a brawl. The DQ means they should all fight each other shortly to find a Meiko contender.
