Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai reunite and set to challenge for the NXT women’s tag titles.
During the Stand & Deliver Kickoff show this Saturday, the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships will be up for grabs.
NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne made promos about how they beat all challengers on last night’s NXT 2.0 edition. Dakota Kai immediately to the ring in an attempt to get revenge on Toxic Attraction for their assault on Wendy Choo, but she was triple-teamed by Dolin, Jayne, and NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Raquel Gonzalez then rushed to the ring to save her former tag team teammate. Kai and Gonzalez cleared the Toxic Attraction ring and then squared up in front of a crowd chanting “yeah!” Gonzalez extended a handshake, but Kai brushed it aside and went into Gonzalez’s arms for a bear embrace. Gonzalez and Kai then raised their championship belts in the air in celebration in the center of the ring.
Kai and Gonzalez face Dolin and Jayne in Saturday’s Stand & Deliver Kickoff. Pre-show starts at 12 pm ET.
